Hillside's Volunteer Philosophy Often time's churches recruit to fill needs and programming, but here at Hillside we would really like you to serve in your area of passion. If you're not sure what that is, jump in and try a variety of things...you're not trapped forever! We would rather you move from area to area to try different things and find out what your passion is about. And if you know what you're passionate about, and we are not doing it, then let's start doing it! Obviously when we talk about our passions & our abilities, the things we are good at and like to do, are a part of that, but also the exercising of your spiritual gifts. So the question is not, what we can get you to do, the question is, how can we help you to hear God's call, and create an environment for you to invest your life in things that will last forever?
HCC SCHEDULE
Worship Service	Sunday morning 10:45 AM
Small Groups	Various dates, weekly and bi-weekly
Nursery Service	Nursery service is rotated on a weekly basis. Contact Rachel Merrifield or Jennifer Torres to volunteer for this ministry.
Children's Church Service	A rotation of several teachers. Generally, teachers teach two weeks in a row and have a six week break. Contact Sandie Merrifield to volunteer for this ministry.
Worship Service-MC's	Rotation of people who make announcements, lead prayer and take offering.
Ushers	Rotation of people who seat worshipers greet people and pass out bulletins.
Doorkeepers	Rotation of people who open and close the church for the worship the service.
Coffee & Cookie Service	Rotation of people who make coffee & supply cookies and snacks after the Sunday service.
Worship Teams & Multi-Media Operators	Rotation of people on the music/worship teams & those who operate the sound equipment & Power Point during the worship service.
